Lecturely Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 August 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Lecturely app. Lecturely is made by Pixra Yazılım ve Teknoloji Limited Şirketi (“Pixra Studio”, “we”, “us”), an app studio in İstanbul, Türkiye. By using Lecturely you agree to them.
Who may use Lecturely
You must be at least 13.If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission to use Lecturely and to buy a subscription, and by using it you confirm you have that permission.
Your account is yours alone. Do not share your sign-in with anyone, and tell us if you think someone else has used it.
What Lecturely is, and what it is not
Lecturely is a study tool. It explains method, gives practice, grades free-response answers against published rubrics, and tracks which units you are on.
It is built on an AI model, and an AI model can be wrong. Explanations, grades, scores and predictions produced by Lecturely are generated automatically. They may contain mistakes. They are an aid to your studying and nothing more.
Lecturely is not the examiner, and a grade from Lecturely is not a grade. No score, estimate or piece of feedback in this app comes from, is approved by, or predicts the result of any real examination. Do not rely on it to decide whether you are ready to sit an exam, and do not use it as a substitute for your teacher, your school or official practice material.
We do not promise any particular score, grade or outcome, and we never will.
Subscriptions and payment
Some parts of Lecturely need a paid subscription. The price, the billing period and what the subscription includes are shown in the app before you buy, and in the App Store or Google Play listing.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown, until you cancel. Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us.
Cancel through the store, not through us. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the current period runs out.
Refunds are the store’s to give. Apple and Google handle their own purchases and their own refunds under their own policies. We cannot refund a purchase we did not take. If a store rule or your local law gives you a right to a refund, that right stands.
If we change the price, we will tell you before it takes effect and you can cancel.
How you may use it
Use Lecturely to study. Do not:
Use it to cheat in an examination, or in any way an exam board or your school forbids. Copy, scrape or resell its content. Try to break, overload or reverse-engineer it. Use it to produce anything unlawful, abusive or harmful. Upload photographs of other people. Pretend to be someone else.
We may suspend or close an account that does these things.
Your work, and our content
What you write stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service — to send your question to be answered and to show you the reply. Our privacy policy explains what is kept, and the short answer is that the words are not.
Lecturely itself — its software, its explanations, its question sets and its design — belongs to us and is protected by copyright. Using the app does not transfer any of it to you.
Trademarks
SAT® and AP® are trademarks registered by the College Board, which was not involved in the production of, and does not endorse, Lecturely. We use these names only to describe which examinations Lecturely prepares you for.
Ending it
You can stop using Lecturely and delete your account at any time, from inside the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, or withdraw the service entirely — if we withdraw it while you are paying for it, we will refund the unused part of what you paid where the store allows us to arrange that.
Disclaimers and liability
Lecturely is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any examination result. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be removed. Consumer law in your country may give you rights that override these Terms, and if so those rights win.
Changes
If we change these Terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect and update the date at the top. Continuing to use Lecturely after that means the new Terms apply. If you do not accept them, stop using the app and cancel.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of İstanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
